Paramedic: many ER conflicts could be avoided with better communication

Paramedic and first-aid instructor Julia Cyran describes life on a hospital emergency ward, including arriving to find patients who have been dead for hours while grieving families expect action. She says many conflicts on emergency wards stem from poor communication and families' misunderstanding of how emergency medicine works. "Sometimes the response is perfect and we still see a flat line," she told Interia.
