PiS MP lobbied Ziobro on behalf of businessman suspected of bribing Kenya's minister
PiS MP Jacek Żalek sent an e-mail to Zbigniew Ziobro's private inbox lobbying on behalf of Białystok businessman Witold Karczewski. Karczewski was suspected of attempting to bribe Kenya's agriculture minister and had ties to a Lukashenko associate. At the time he was close to securing over $100 million from contracts financed by a Polish government loan. The case came to light after investigators reviewed the case files, according to Onet.
