South Korea plans stablecoin rules as opposition seeks to scrap crypto tax
South Korea's Financial Services Commission is reportedly preparing a government-backed digital asset bill that would regulate stablecoins and crypto exchanges. At the same time, opposition lawmakers are pushing to repeal a planned 22% cryptocurrency tax scheduled to take effect in 2027.
