90% of Poles want tax-free threshold doubled to 60,000 zł, economists warn of deficit

A poll by IBRiS for Rzeczpospolita shows that nearly nine in ten Poles support doubling the personal income tax-free threshold to 60,000 zł within the current parliamentary term. Support for the PIT cut is at a record high. Economists warn, however, that implementing the change could significantly widen the public finance deficit.
