Poles spend holidays renovating homes — DIY stores cash in

Nearly six in ten Poles plan to carry out at least minor renovation work at home during the summer holidays. DIY and building supply stores are already reporting a noticeable increase in sales of materials and fittings. The "stay-at-home renovation holiday" is becoming an increasingly common alternative to travelling.
