Furmanek demands 3 million PLN from TVP over alleged "Proxy War" plagiarism

Mariusz Furmanek, former head of Poland's Civil Defence, accuses TVP of plagiarising his audiobook "Operacja Bosfor" in the TV series "Wojna zastępcza" and is seeking 3 million PLN in damages. TVP maintains the series was based on an original screenplay rooted in Poland's historical experiences. Furmanek says he has "irrefutable arguments" and claims he was involved in early work on the series' script.
