Satellite built to save NASA's Swift telescope loses two reaction wheels

NASA's Swift gamma-ray telescope rescue mission has run into serious trouble less than a month after launch. The Link satellite, built by Katalyst Space Technologies, lost control of its attitude after two of its three reaction wheels failed and its cold gas thruster system partially stopped working, causing the spacecraft to spin. NASA announced the issues on Tuesday, noting that communications with Link have become sporadic as a result.
