Polish man faces up to 5 years in prison for vandalising Medjugorje shrine

Bosnia and Herzegovina's state prosecutor's office is taking up the case of a 31-year-old Polish citizen suspected of acts of vandalism at the famous Medjugorje shrine. The man allegedly damaged a statue of the Virgin Mary and attempted to start a fire at the site. He faces a sentence of between six months and five years in prison.
