Georgia Man Charged With Felony for Wiping His Phone During CBP Search
Samuel Tunick, a Georgia man and activist, has been charged with a felony for allegedly remotely wiping his phone while being questioned by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at an airport. He is among many activists who have had their devices searched or seized at US borders. Unlike others in similar situations, Tunick was reportedly told the reason his phone was taken.
