PiS dropped Morawiecki ally purge fearing loss of party funds and a breakaway club

According to Wirtualna Polska's findings, PiS leadership backed down from expelling Mateusz Morawiecki's allies not only for procedural reasons but also out of fear that the ousted group would form a new parliamentary club, costing the party its state funding. As a result, Morawiecki and his supporters remain in PiS despite earlier announcements of their removal.
