Morawiecki calls PiS decision a "second-rate soap opera" and quits ECR chairmanship
Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki declared he does not consider himself a PiS member, calling the party's Political Committee decision a "second-rate soap opera that does not serve Poland." His former spokesman Piotr Müller announced on X that Morawiecki had been expelled from PiS structures. As a result, Morawiecki resigned as chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament.
