Ukraine denies attacking Iranian ship and blames Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated after a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that Kyiv wants to avoid unnecessary escalation with Tehran. Ukraine denied responsibility for an attack on an Iranian vessel and pointed the blame at Russia. Kyiv is keen to preserve stable relations with Iran amid the ongoing war.
