Wildfire destroys commercial district of Biscarrosse in southwestern France

A devastating wildfire in southwestern France destroyed much of the commercial district of Biscarrosse in the Gironde region. The fire forced the evacuation of more than 1,000 residents, who took shelter at an exhibition centre in Bordeaux. Volunteers organised activities and provided logistical support for evacuees.
