PiS expels Morawiecki; ex-PM resigns as ECR chair in European Parliament

Poland's Law and Justice party (PiS) has officially expelled former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki along with other politicians linked to the "Rozwój Plus" association. In response, Morawiecki resigned as chair of the European Conservatives and Reformists group in the European Parliament. Shortly before the decision, he had published a political manifesto outlining his "10 pillars" vision.
