Morawiecki not expelled from PiS — case referred to disciplinary ombudsman

PiS's Political Committee decided not to expel Mateusz Morawiecki and other members of his Rozwój Plus association from the party, spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced on Tuesday. Instead, their cases have been referred to the party's disciplinary ombudsman, Karol Karski. The decision marks a departure from PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński's earlier threats of automatic expulsion.
