Volunteers support over 1,000 wildfire evacuees sheltering in Bordeaux

More than 1,000 people evacuated due to wildfires in the Gironde region of southwestern France are sheltering at an exhibition centre in Bordeaux. A large team of volunteers has organised activities and met the evacuees' practical needs. The fires have caused widespread destruction in the Biscarrosse area.
