Sweden's Lindahl breaks 46-year-old national record but result won't count — she's switching nationality
Twenty-one-year-old Norah Lindahl ran 100 metres in 11.15 seconds three weeks ago, breaking Sweden's 46-year-old national record set by Linda Haglund at the Moscow Olympics. The time will not be officially ratified because Lindahl is in the process of switching nationalities. The athlete feels betrayed by the Swedish athletics federation.
