Stroke risk factors rising faster in Black people than white people, study finds

A King's College London analysis of data from over 8,500 adults tracked over 30 years via the South London Stroke Register found that diabetes and hypertension are increasingly common among Black African and Caribbean people. These risk factors are rising faster in that group than among their white counterparts in the same area.
