Canal+ revenue jumps 40% to €4.3bn after MultiChoice acquisition

Canal+ Group reported a 40% jump in revenues to €4.3 billion ($4.8 billion) for the first half of the year, driven by the acquisition of MultiChoice, which has significantly expanded its pay-TV footprint across Africa. The London Stock Exchange-listed group is also the parent company of Studiocanal, the producer behind the "Paddington" film series.
