Poland's NFZ to gain power for unannounced inspections of private clinics
Poland's Ministry of Health has sent a draft amendment for public consultation that would grant the National Health Fund (NFZ) the power to carry out unannounced inspections of medical facilities, including private ones. The proposal also provides for an increase in the number of NFZ inspectors. The changes are designed to tighten oversight of the healthcare system.
