AMD Helios outpaces Nvidia on memory per rack but trails on rack-level compute

AMD has launched its Helios rack-scale AI platform, claiming 31TB of HBM4 memory per rack versus roughly 20.7TB in Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72. The company also asserts a 15% FP4 compute advantage per GPU and 30% more tokens per dollar over the competition. However, AMD's compute claims are based on per-GPU figures rather than Nvidia's published rack-level numbers, meaning the performance advantage may not hold up in a like-for-like comparison.
