Gawkowski Rejects Constitutional Tribunal Ruling on Same-Sex Marriage Transcriptions
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski sharply criticised a Constitutional Tribunal ruling on the transcription of same-sex marriage certificates, calling the body an "illegal tribunal." He declared that work on a regulation supporting transcription would continue and that the government would not respect the ruling. Gawkowski said the tribunal "wants to strip hundreds — and in the future thousands — of people of their right to happiness."
