New Constitutional Tribunal judge Patyra: unrecognised judges deepen legal chaos
Prof. Sławomir Patyra was sworn in today before President Karol Nawrocki as a new judge of Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. He declared he cannot imagine upholding the constitution by violating it, and that ignoring the four legally elected judges still barred from sitting deepens legal chaos. He insisted that any participation by disputed judges in rulings only worsens the constitutional crisis.
