PiS split: Kaczyński may fix past mistake, Morawiecki faces an uphill battle
Łukasz Pawłowski, head of the Ogólnopolska Grupa Badawcza polling firm, warns against writing off PiS too soon, arguing that Jarosław Kaczyński can use the split to correct a "fundamental mistake" he had made previously. Morawiecki's position outside PiS is far more difficult than it appears, as he lacks independent financial resources and party structures. According to Pawłowski, the real beneficiaries of the split are parties outside the right wing.
