Magnitude-6.8 quake hits Kumamoto: 50 injured, people trapped in mall

A magnitude-6.8 earthquake struck Kumamoto prefecture on Japan's southern Kyushu island on Tuesday afternoon, injuring at least 50 people. Some people are trapped and feared dead inside a partly collapsed shopping mall. The quake knocked out power to thousands of homes and caused widespread damage to roads, bridges and buildings.
