UN chief makes rare Cyprus visit to push for reunification

UN Secretary-General António Guterres made a rare visit to Cyprus to reaffirm the UN's commitment to resolving the island's long-standing ethnic division. Cyprus has been split between its Greek Cypriot south and Turkish Cypriot north since. The visit is considered unusual, as UN chiefs rarely travel to the island.
