Dubai pays residents over $800 per group to lure tourists amid Middle East conflict

Dubai's government-run Visit Dubai website is offering residents incentive packages worth over $800 each time they invite family or friends to visit the emirate, under a programme called "A Dubai Invite". Each resident can claim up to three such packages. The initiative is a direct response to declining foreign tourist numbers linked to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
