PiS split to hit party finances — Morawiecki could raise 30 million zloty

Poland's Law and Justice party (PiS) is already receiving a state subsidy reduced by 11 million zloty. The departure of more than 40 politicians from the party is set to worsen its financial position further. Mateusz Morawiecki, leading the breakaway faction, is reportedly capable of independently raising around 30 million zloty.
