Paramount Skydance halts Warner Bros. Discovery takeover — TVN future uncertain

Paramount Skydance has unexpectedly halted its planned takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, the owner of Polish broadcaster TVN among others. The move came after pressure from US state authorities and trade unions, and a court extended an injunction blocking the deal from closing. The future of TVN and other WBD-owned channels now remains uncertain.
