NASA's Psyche spacecraft completes Mars flyby en route to metal asteroid

NASA's Psyche spacecraft successfully completed a Mars flyby, using the planet's gravitational pull to accelerate toward a metal-rich asteroid it is due to reach in 2029. During the encounter the probe tested its cameras, magnetometer, and particle detectors, captured a timelapse of Mars, detected neutrons from the surface, and photographed the small moons Phobos and Deimos.
