Poland's Health Ministry caps doctor salaries at 76,800 PLN gross per month

Deputy Health Minister Tomasz Maciejewski announced Tuesday that the ministry has sent a draft law to public consultation setting maximum monthly salaries for doctors. A standard full-time position would pay up to around 58,000 PLN gross, while extended working hours could bring up to roughly 76,800 PLN gross. The lower end of the proposed scale starts at 38,000 PLN gross.
