Record 40% of Poles oppose Ukraine joining the EU, CBOS survey finds

A new CBOS survey shows that opposition among Poles to Ukraine joining the European Union has risen to 40 percent – the highest recorded in the history of measurements. A majority of respondents also believe Ukraine will end the war by ceding part of its territory. Support for Kyiv's EU accession has been falling noticeably amid shifting public sentiment.
