Trump administration force-fed hunger striker in ICE detention, document reveals
A document from ICE's Health Service Corps, reviewed by the Guardian, confirms that the Trump administration subjected at least one hunger-striking immigration detainee to forced medical treatment — including force-feeding, forced hydration and urinary catheterisation. The hunger strikes took place between October and December of last year. Healthcare associations and international human rights groups have described such practices as torture.
