Kubica loses Middle East races as WEC cancels Qatar and Bahrain rounds

The ongoing conflict in Iran has forced WEC organizers to cancel the Qatar and Bahrain rounds of the endurance championship. Robert Kubica will miss those Middle East races and will instead compete exclusively in European rounds. It is not the first time the regional conflict has disrupted the WEC calendar.
