UN: Nearly 500 Afghan civilians killed in Pakistan-Afghanistan border fighting

The United Nations reports that cross-border fighting between Pakistan and Afghanistan killed nearly 500 civilians in Afghanistan and wounded over 1,000 others between October and June. The clashes have predominantly affected civilian populations on the Afghan side of the border.
