Obajtek charged with false testimony and breaching press freedom law
Former Orlen CEO and PiS MEP Daniel Obajtek was charged on Tuesday with two offences: giving false testimony in a separate criminal case and obstructing the distribution of the weekly "Nie". Obajtek denied the charges and refused to make a statement until he had reviewed the evidence. He organised a protest outside the Warsaw prosecutor's office, criticising the newspaper and defending his actions.
