Meta trial: company knew Instagram was addictive for teens but kept harmful features
A seven-week trial against Meta has opened in Tennessee state court. State lawyers argued that Meta's own researchers repeatedly flagged to management that some teenagers were using Instagram compulsively, yet the company kept the addictive features in place.
