Ostróda Hospital Lost 12 Million Zloty While One Doctor Earned Over 1,600 PLN Per Hour

The county hospital in Ostróda recorded losses exceeding 12 million zloty last year. At the same time, one doctor's hourly rate in April surpassed 1,600 PLN, according to Interia's investigation. Councillor Piotr Kołodziejski, who has been filing complaints against the hospital for months, described the situation as "shocking" and the pay as "horrendous" for an institution with massive debts.
