PiS Lublin stronghold crumbles: 15 MPs down to 8 after split

Only eight of the fifteen PiS MPs from the Lublin region — a traditional stronghold of the party — will remain active in the party after the split. Wirtualna Polska established that regional Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski, seen as sympathetic to the new Rozwój Plus grouping, unsuccessfully tried to persuade one PiS MP to sign a loyalty pledge.
