Small plane makes emergency beach landing among crowds at Huntington State Beach

A Piper PA-28 made an emergency landing on a packed Huntington State Beach in California after the pilot reported engine trouble shortly after taking off from John Wayne Airport. The plane touched down safely just south of Magnolia Street amid beachgoers. No casualties among the crowds were immediately reported.
