Fake Sparrow Wallet App on App Store Drains $1.8M in Bitcoin from Three Users

Three users have filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging a counterfeit Sparrow Wallet app on the App Store drained their Bitcoin holdings for a combined loss of over $1.8 million. The lawsuit accuses Apple of insufficient vetting of apps in its store. The fake app impersonated the legitimate Sparrow Wallet cryptocurrency application.
