Free Lung Cancer CT Screening for Smokers Starts 1 October
Poland's Ministry of Health is launching a free lung cancer screening programme from 1 October, targeting current and former smokers who meet specific criteria. The programme uses low-dose computed tomography (CT), which can detect suspicious changes at a very early stage before symptoms appear. The initiative aims to improve early detection rates for one of Poland's most deadly cancers.
