South Korean stock market crashes: KOSPI drops over 8%, trading halted

South Korea's KOSPI index dropped more than 8% and trading was halted as panic gripped the market. Samsung and SK Hynix led the sell-off, dragging the entire market lower. At one point, one index was down more than 10%.
