Polish government imposes 3% public sector pay rise — unions want talks
Poland's Ministry of Finance has confirmed that next year's public sector pay rise will be set at 3%, costing the state 7 billion zlotys. The government acted unilaterally after no agreement was reached within the statutory deadline at the Social Dialogue Council. Trade unions say they remain ready for talks and willing to make concessions.
