PiS reverses stance, backs short-term rental restrictions

A growing coalition of parties is pushing for changes to the government's short-term rental bill. Poland 2050 and Lewica want local governments and housing communities to have real say over whether and to what extent short-term rentals operate in their area. PiS has now reversed its earlier opposition — previously citing property rights — and joined the push for tighter regulation.
