Prof. Sobierajski: Higher Health Insurance Contribution Would Solve Many Healthcare Problems
Sociologist Prof. Tomasz Sobierajski argues that raising the health insurance contribution could resolve many systemic problems in Polish healthcare. He criticises the spread of corporate language in hospitals — describing patients as "clients" and treatments as "procedures" — as harmful and absurd. In his view, the root problems are the depersonalisation of patients and chronic underfunding of the system.
