France and Spain battle wildfires as scorching heatwave returns

A massive wildfire continues to threaten the Bordeaux area even as firefighters began gaining ground elsewhere in France and Spain. Authorities warned that scorching temperatures returning this week could fuel what they called the continent's worst fires in living memory. Emergency crews are battling blazes on both sides of the Pyrenees simultaneously.
