Well-connected Melbourne man convicted of raping former staffer

A jury at the County Court of Victoria found a well-connected Melbourne man, who cannot be named, guilty of raping a former employee. He faced two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault and had pleaded not guilty. The assault took place at his home in March 2023.
