A television series delivering a new season every year seems like a rare treat these days, when, in fact, it used to always be the case. Perhaps the days of prestige television being treated like movie franchises have spoiled the way things used to be, but thankfully, there's one show that doesn't mind putting in the work to make us happy every year. Reacher has made an argument for being Prime Video's biggest success story at this point, with tremendous viewing figures and its lead's star power growing yearly, with each season adapting a different Lee Child novel and introducing an almost entirely new supporting cast, and the rapid turnaround has become one of the show’s defining strengths.
