Lena Waithe on Ending 'The Chi': "We Do Deserve It"

Lena Waithe, creator of The Chi, has spoken candidly about bringing her Showtime and Paramount+ series to a close after a decade. She stressed the importance of giving the show a proper ending, something she noted many Black-led series never receive. "I hope this is one of those finales that people remember. Because we do deserve it," Waithe told The Hollywood Reporter.
